BORDEAUX

Claret

Lots of new entries to the list and some old favourites too. Our “House Claret” recommendation is Château Bel-Air which is actually from the Entre-Deux-Mers region but holds the appellation “ Bordeaux Superieur ” For reliable “Sunday Lunch” claret look at either Château La Croix de Grézard or Château du Gazin. At the next level the big name 2001s now represent fantastic value and are all drinking well. As usual we have a good selection of older vintages of classics.
